Supporting the Board’s knowledge and skills related to the governance relationship with the Superintendent of Schools.
- How do you build relationships with the Board? (e.g., Board chair and/or Trustee)
1. Know the boundaries - Admin/Super/Board; 2.it is the Chair's job to 'discipline' a Board member who steps beyond the Governance; it is not the Super's role. HOWEVER, if the Board Chair does not have the capacity, the Super may have to step in; 3. Contextual Leadership is important;
