1. Clarify boundaries and roles - Establish a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities between governance and management - revisit roles and responsibilities between operations and governance (planning session, training, organizational meeting, beginning of year); pre-meetings between Superintendent, Secretary Treasurer and Board Chair to ensure agenda remains on governance and coaching if discussions go towards operations; Board Chair needs to reign in trustee operations' discussions; refer back to Board Policies and role of Board;
