Clarify Boundaries and Roles: Professional Learning from an external source. The entire Board must be present and actively participate along with Sr. Administration. Ensure all Trustee voices are valued and validated. Empower the Board Chair to understand their role and how to have challenging conversations with Trustees on roles/conduct. Accountability - creating norms, protocols, principles. The Board has to be empowered to hold each other accountable to their norms, protocols and principles. Review policies regularly.
