I am walking out my own journy of truth and reconciliation and what my personal actions can do to 'influence' others as a system education leader. I know that I cannot be the one to have the relationship or own the relationship with our Indigenous partners. Rather, I am to be a connector or faciliator in the path of next each educators next first step. Offering opportunities to engage in experiences of learning and understanding alongside Indigenous partners is sometimes the best thing we can do for our school teams as they don't know where or how to start. Its okay to not know. But it is not okay to not do anything about that.
