How can system education leaders ensure policies provide an ethical frame for potential uses in ways that support inclusion, equity, decolonization and optimum learning?

Teachers need a foundational knowledge of AI to support student learning in their classrooms. The question of whether teachers “must” versus “may” brings the question of equity to mind. Does Teacher A say no and outlaw AI while their hall partner says yes? Are the A students disadvantaged? Is this equitable or even fair? Is it ethical?
