Ideally, have a conversation with the Board Chair and suggest to the Board Chair how they may be able to address it. The Orientation of the Board: Role of the Trustee is critically important. If the Superintendent is new, it is suggested that it be done by a seasoned Superintendent who is familiar to the trustees and superintendent.
