Strategies and approaches on working with Boards on the governance role
How did you address a situation when a trustee may move beyond their governance role? (e.g., Superintendent actions or Trustees actions)

It is important (within your own context) to have the Secretary-Treasurer well involved in the process. She should be seen as the "parliamentarian" and should be looked at for her expertise in this area. It is difficult for the superintendent to discipline trustees as they are her employer. The Secretary-Treasurer is not an employee of the Board and therefore has more flexibility in directly this from her chair in the organizational chart.
