Our staff continue to be are experiencing increasing levels of stress (including our leaders), and it is important that we begin by supporting principals in strengthening the soft skills needed to foster effective, school-based problem solving. Using case-based scenarios can help administrators practice thoughtful, relationship-centered approaches and build confidence in addressing challenges. Too often, situations are escalated prematurely without first taking the time to build understanding, trust, and context at the school level. Strengthening these practices will help create more sustainable and responsive solutions.
