Building an “assessment literate” culture is arguably the most important change initiative any school or school division can take on. The Alberta Assessment Consortium has a wealth of useful resources to help jurisdictions in building this culture. Being assessment literate is also a very essential component of Collaborative Response, a change initiative that many jurisdictions have also adopted. I feel it would be a very worthwhile pursuit for CASS.
