CASS President’s Message

Stepping into the role of President for the College of Alberta School Superintendents is both a privilege and a responsibility I hold in high regard. As we look to the 2026–2027 school year, I am energized by the collective wisdom across our province and the vital work CASS carries out to champion public education.

Our dedication to Leadership and System Excellence continues to chart our course. At its heart, our mission focuses on equipping system education leaders with the tools, advocacy, and support needed to ensure every student in Alberta receives an exceptional education.

Our four core values anchor our work and guide our decisions:

Building on these foundations, the year ahead offers exciting opportunities to deepen our impact. Real progress happens through intentional collaboration, and CASS will continue to cultivate strong, active relationships across Alberta and Canada. By sharing insights and leading with shared purpose, we can address complex challenges and create learning environments where both staff and students thrive.
