What should we mean by “optimum learning for all” NOW?

The SLQS makes direct reference to the importance of the school authorities’ constant analysis of the (changing) context to make mindful decisions to create the conditions for the optimum learning of all students in the school authority. The political, environmental and social changes of the past few years represent very considerable changes in context. In this scenario:

Learning most conducive to favorable outcomes occurs when learners can immediately receive feedback about their performance relative to a task. Repeatedly, over time, builds optimum learning.

Absolutely. Timely, specific feedback is fundamental. The big question is: what is the nature of the tasks students are asked to perform on a daily basis? What version of learning (of the 2 discussed in the keynote) are those tasks encouraging?
