Team Leadership Learning

The Team Leadership Learning approach provides a forum for building the collective capacity of your school authority leadership team through a community of practice approach. The day(s) will be facilitated by a thought leader who has experience with evidence based practice and research and who will make meaningful for the Alberta context. For the 2017-18 year Michael Fullan and team will join CASS members for both the annual conference as well as the CASS/Alberta Education Learning Conference.

Goals for the team leadership learning approach:

• an opportunity to engage with your team on current research and professional practice that can inform system improvements and build capacity.
• planned opportunities for community building and networking with other school authorities and education partners available in the room.

Based on grant funding from Alberta Education and direction from the CASS board the overarching outcome for CASS professional learning opportunities:

Superintendent leadership supports quality school leadership and teaching to create optimum learning for all students in Alberta.
