Discover, Connect, and Lead: Register Now for the 2025 CASS Fall Conference

This year’s Fall Conference program is designed with diverse learning opportunities at its core, offering sessions that span governance, instructional leadership, organizational culture, and the ever-changing landscape of education. Each presentation has been designed to provide practical insights that strengthen leadership and enhance student success.

At the heart of the conference will be our keynote, Dr. Alec Couros, professor of educational technology and media at the University of Regina. An internationally recognized leader in digital citizenship, open education, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Dr. Couros has inspired educators across Canada and beyond for more than two decades. His reputation for continuing to have an impact on system education leaders has been recently experienced through highly regarded presentations to the Saskatchewan League of Educational Administrators, Directors and Superintendents (LEADS) and the Manitoba Association of School Superintendents (MASS).

Dr. Couros’ groundbreaking work includes pioneering Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), shaping provincial digital citizenship policy, and leading national conversations on generative AI in education. His keynote will challenge and inspire system education leaders to imagine the possibilities of learning in a connected world.

Our upcoming conference also promises to be your forum to engage with diverse, relevant presentations designed for system education leaders, connect with colleagues across Alberta to share strategies and insights, and learn from other leaders in the field who are shaping the future of education.
