An upcoming breakout session on Nov. 6, 2025, at the CASS Fall Conference will feature Alberta’s expanding collegiate school community in a two-part showcase and design lab. Presenters Jennifer Robson and Tammy Tkachuk (Alberta Education), along with CASS Leadership Consultant Colleen Symyrozum-Watt, will explore the Collegiate School Model as a system strategy. The morning session will bring together the collegiate community to outline the importance of career education in today’s dynamic work environment. It will include:
- Alberta Education Overview and Update
- Collegiate Schools in Action (25 minutes): “Your Why” presentation
In the afternoon, participants will take part in an interactive Collaborative Design Lab to engage with the collegiate school community in discussing the Model as System Strategy, Partnerships, and Resourcing Opportunities. This portion provides time for members of the collegiate community to connect with one another, explore practical applications, adapt ideas to their own contexts, and collaborate on strategies that advance collegiate education across Alberta. CASS members can select this session as a breakout option at registration, while non-members may attend by paying a registration fee. This allows broader access to the session’s content beyond conference delegates.
