eLeadership Guide Strengthens System Leadership for Inclusion

CASS’ eLeadership guide, “System Education Leadership for Inclusion,” explores how system education leaders can strengthen inclusive education practices to support optimum learning for all students. Using the Explore, Develop, Take Action, and Evaluate framework, the guide examines connections among inclusive education, student well-being, system partnerships, and coordinated supports. Stories of practice from Golden Hills School Division, Rocky View Schools, and Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools illustrate how Alberta school authorities are working with health, community, and government partners to support students and families. Structured reflection and action planning opportunities encourage participants to examine current approaches, identify strategic priorities, and determine next steps within their own systems. System education leaders are encouraged to download the eLeadership guide “Reflection Companion” to support individual and collaborative professional learning while applying insights from research and Alberta practice.
