Registration for CASS’ 2023 Annual Learning Conference is now open! The conference, which runs from March 22 to 24, will allow members to engage in research and stories of practice delivered by 17 school authorities within the context of Alberta’s Superintendent Leadership Quality Standard or the Leadership Quality Standard.

Peter Barron, Joe Dumont, Dr. Sharon Friesen, Catherine Giesbrecht, and Brenda Herder will facilitate a pre-conference on March 22 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. focused on system education leaders’ role in supporting professional growth for themselves, teachers, and school leaders resulting in “Optimum Learning for all Students in Alberta.”

The annual learning conference opens later that evening at 7 p.m. with role-alike sessions followed by the President’s Reception. Session descriptions and presenter bios have been posted to the conference site and are accessible by clicking “+” to expand the page. Members planning to attend the pre-conference and conference will enjoy a discounted rate.
