New Curriculum Implementation

Overview

This eLeadership Guide is designed to support school authorities as they implement a new provincial curriculum. Through authentic stories of practice, research participants will hear directly from system leaders who are actively engaging with the curriculum in their local contexts.

Through embedded stories of practice, several school authorities share practical examples of planning, instruction, assessment, and leadership that align with the intent of the new curriculum. Included in these stories are the successes, challenges, and lessons learned, offering actionable insights that school authorities can adapt to their own implementation journeys.

This guide will build a shared understanding of effective curriculum implementation, celebrate collaboration across jurisdictions, and support school authorities in translating provincial direction into meaningful classroom- and system-level practice.
