To explore explores how system education leaders can strengthen new curriculum implementation from a system perspective, this eLeadership Guide will use the Alberta Government Continuous Improvement Cycle (pp. 32-33) to examine this topic. The Continuous Improvement Cycle includes the key components of explore, develop, take action, and evaluate.

New Curriculum Implementation eLeadership Guide Outcomes
Participants will:
- analyze authentic examples of curriculum implementation in planning, instruction, assessment, and leadership from diverse local contexts.
- apply practical strategies and lessons learned from system leaders to support effective curriculum implementation within their own school authorities.
- identify common challenges in and successful approaches to curriculum change and use these insights to inform decision-making and improvement efforts.
- strengthen leadership practices that support coherent, system-wide implementation of the new curriculum.
- collaborate with peers across jurisdictions, contributing to a shared understanding and collective capacity for curriculum implementation.
- translate provincial direction into meaningful, context-responsive actions that support teaching, learning, and assessment.
