Six Continuing Education Program Courses Offered at Summer Learning Conference

This year’s CASS/ASBOA Summer Learning Conference offers regulated members the opportunity to complete one of six Continuing Education Program (CEP) courses from August 13 to 15, 2025, at the JW Marriott in Edmonton’s ICE District. Five new courses will be piloted, including topics such as school authority operations, instructional leadership, Indigenous student success, relational leadership, and visionary leadership. Participants will be invited to provide feedback during and after the conference to support ongoing course development. Members who complete a course will earn 10 CEP credits for the current 2024/25 learning year, contributing to the five-course accreditation requirement. For those facing unforeseen, work-related scheduling conflicts, AP 306 outlines the steps for requesting an accommodation to ensure fairness and program integrity. Full details, including a program at a glance is available on the conference webpage, linked above.
