Registration is now open for the 2026 Alberta Trades and Technologies Summit, marking the return of the province-wide gathering for its third year. Led with support from the Trades and Vocational Education Committee, the two-day summit will bring together industry leaders, education professionals, and cross-sector partners committed to advancing skilled trades and technologies education across Alberta. Taking place at SAIT on April 28-29, 2026, summit programming will focus on strengthening coherent, connected career pathways through six strands: foundations to futures, coherent pathways, sustaining programming, shared stewardship, engagement to expertise, and enduring partnerships. This year’s theme, Pathways to Possibility, reflects a continued focus on shared responsibility and clear transitions from school to post-secondary education and the workforce. System education leaders and school authority teams are encouraged to register and share the opportunity across their communities.
