Get a Head Start On Your Professional Learning

By now it should be well understood that beginning Sept. 1, 2024, regulated members are expected to comply with the requirements of CASS’ Continuing Education Program (CEP). Annually, each member must complete 30 credit hours of professional learning. Additionally, specific course-based learning obligations will take effect with the start of the 2024/25 school year.

So why not begin this journey sooner than later? Participation in the annual CASS / ASBOA Summer Learning Conference will assist with initiating this process. Running from Aug. 14 – 16 at the J.W. Marriott, ICE District in Edmonton, this conference offers you the chance to collaborate with peers and begin fulfilling the CEP course-based learning requirements. Seven of the twelve courses in total will be piloted during the conference. By participating in one of the courses being piloted, this action will count towards a member’s requirement to complete five courses within the course-based learning component of the CEP within five years. Although the equivalent 10 credits will not be eligible for submission in the 2024/25 learning year, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your professional learning related to the CEP and make it count in a meaningful way.

Come and learn within the trendy and modern environment of the Edmonton ICE District. Plus enjoy some social time at the Summer Zooventure Social.
